It was the third banquet of the 2018 season. Entertainment for the evening was provided by OSU Extension Educator Mark Badertscher, who spoke about his sheep and agriculture tour of California.

Sporting the 2018 sash and tiara is Kenton FFA Junior Member Abby Oberlitner.
Oberlitner says her father is to thank for her love of the sheep industry.

Also being awarded were a set of scholarships. Winning scholarships from the association were Justin Light and Erin Unger. Light is set to attend the University of Northwest Ohio during the summer quarter to study Agriculture and Diesel Technology. Unger will is accepted to Youngstown State University to major in Psychology.
A memorial scholarship was introduced for longtime Sheep Improvement Association member, the late Steve Lowery. Winning that scholarship were Clair Wilson and Alexis Elliott. Both are communicators with Wilson set to attend Indiana Wesleyan University to study Communication and Elliott attending Ohio State majoring in Agricultural Communication.
The next commodity banquets are both the Poultry Banquet and the Pork Banquet, set for March 17th.
