The Ridgemont FFA recognized members for their many achievements at their annual banquet Sunday night.
Members were recognized for many achievements this past year including Job Shadowing, Public Speaking, Ag Technology events, soil studies, the Fuel Up to Play 60 event, robotics, drone technology research, safety training events and numerous other activities that the chapter participates in annually.
Among chapter highlights, top scholars in each class were, Alexis Elliott-Freshman, Taylor Cronley-Sophomore, Taylor Hardin-Junior, and Logan Hill was named Senior class top scholar. The Ag-Credit 110% Award went to Ryan Messner. Members Shaye Creamer and Nole Gerfin were named Star Chapter Greenhands, and members Cody McKee and Clay Gerfin were named Star Chapter Placement awards.
Ridgemont also recognized several members for their state proficiency awards. Clay Gerfen placed Top 4 in the state in Diversified Agriculture and Swine Placement. Nole Gerfen placed Top 4 in Diversified Livestock Production and Swine Entrepreneurship. Bailey Wagner placed Top 4 in Home & Community Development, Adam Wagner placed Top 4 in Agricultural Education and DaKota McKee placed Top 4 in Agricultural Services.
Ridgemont also recognizes members who go above and beyond in their time as FFA members by awarding them the Lauren Ledley Legacy Award in honor of a former member and longtime supporter of the Ridgemont FFA. This year’s winners were Adam Wagner and Adreonna Radcliffe.
Over three hundred people attended the Ridgemont FFA Banquet this year.
