  A power outage affected a small number of American Electric Power customers in Kenton today.   Power went off around 10am due to a blown transformer to around 17 customers just north of the downtown area. That included the traffic light on Detroit at Carrol Street.   Service was restored around 1:30 this afternoon.

Man Charged Following Criminal Damaging Complaint

  A resident in an apartment on Meadow Lane filed a criminal damaging complaint on Thursday.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, the woman said the incident involved her car.   She named a suspect, identified as 21 year old Jayden Kramer, who was issued a summons for criminal damaging.
