Charges in Hancock County against a Lima man were dismissed late last week just 4 days before the start of the trial.

 

According to documents filed in the Hancock County Clerk of Courts Office, charges of aggravated robbery and complicity to commit rape were dropped on June 14 against Cory L. Jackson stemming from and incident in January of 2017.

 

Hometown Stations in Lima reported that the charges were dropped by the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office after Jackson was sentenced in Allen County to 30 years to life in prison for aggravated robbery and murder dating back to 2016.
