The Ohio State Patrol urging motorists to do a proper inspection of their vehicle before travelling.
As part of the Ohio State Patrol’s 100 Days of Summer Safety Campaign, the patrol says you should check under the hood to inspect all belts and hoses.
They should be checked for cracks and cuts in the rubber.
Summer heat can accelerate the rate that rubber degrades.
Anything with signs of damage should be replaced to keep your vehicle running safely.
