A Hancock County woman was among several people sickened last month in a multi-state area caused by a salmonella outbreak.

The Findlay Courier reported that the Ohio Department of Health confirmed the sickness. The woman continues to recover from the illness.

Caito Foods issued a recall for several of it products last week, including pre-cut watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe.

Eight states were affected, and the melon was sold at Kroger, Walmart, Costco and Walgreens.

The outbreak started in late April.
