A house in the 600 block of Decatur Street was damaged by fire early this morning.

 

According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to 608 Decatur Street and upon arrival, light smoke was visible coming from the second floor of the house.

 

The fire was located on the stairs and was quickly contained. Damage was estimated at around $24,000.

The home is owned by Elaina Paschual. There were no injuries.

 

Automatic mutual aid was provided by departments from Mt. Victory, Forest and Richland Township.

 

Firefighters were on the scene until around 3:50 this morning.
