A former superintendent of Grove Cemetery has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple felony charges.

The July Hardin County Grand Jury returned a 32 count indictment against Shawn N. Cook, charging him with eight counts of tampering with records, eight counts of money laundering and 16 counts of theft in office.

Cook, who currently resides in Georgetown, Tennessee, is set for a video arraignment Monday afternoon in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

He was employed by Grove Cemetery for just over 32 years serving most of that time as superintendent. He retired in May of 2013.
