Kenton grad Maty Mauk threw 3 touchdown passes to lead Missouri to victory on Saturday.

Mauk completed 13 of 21 passes for 178 yards and 3 scores as the 24th-ranked Tigers opened their season with a 38-18 win over South Dakota State. Mauk hooked up twice with Darius White for first-quarter scores - once from 44 yards and another time from 39 yards - and added a 29-yard TD toss to Bud Sasser in the fourth quarter.

Mauk is one of 10 Kenton graduates currently playing college football. He will return to his home state this Saturday when Missouri heads to the Glass Bowl to take on the Toledo Rockets. The game kicks off at noon, and tickets can be purchased at www.utrockets.com.
