The Board of Directors of the Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton, Ohio announced the rebranding of the bank.
According to President-CEO-Director Chuck Dixon, the bank will be branded as HSLC.
Dixon commented that the official name of the bank has not changed, but going forward will be known as HSLC.
Founded February 6, 1888 as the Home Savings Building and Loan Company of Kenton, the bank changed its name to the Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton on March 14, 1910.
Dixon stated, "As the bank has evolved into more than a home lender by offering various types of lending products including agriculture loans, commercial loans, leases, automobile loans, and by offering other services such as insurance and wealth management products, the rebranding to HSLC is a logical progression."
Dixon went on to say, "That along with the rebranding the new tag line 'Infinite Opportunities' is a true reflection of the direction of the bank."
Dixon commented that the bank has not abandoned the mortgage lending area, but will be expanding its home lending presence by rolling out new mortgage loan products within the next few weeks.
Dixon went on to say that as Hardin County's oldest bank and by being a community bank, the rebranding process shows the commitment that the bank has to Kenton and Hardin County. "We believe in Hardin County and HSLC will do all that we can to fulfill the financial needs of our great area," said Dixon.
