The Kenton City Schools Board of Education approved an agreement with the Kenton Education Association.
During a special meeting Wednesday night, the board approved the new three year teacher agreement by a 5-0 vote. The new agreement runs from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019.
The board also voted to hire Shelby Ruhlen as Kenton Middle School Educational Assistant, and Jordan Zuch was hired to fill the position of Kenton Middle School math teacher.
Several other personnel matters were taken care of as well before the board went into executive session to discuss personnel, but no action was taken.
The next regular meeting will be July 18 at 7:00pm.
