Drug Charges Expected to be Filed Following Traffic Stop

 
Two people are facing drug charges following a routine traffic stop on Friday.
 
According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers stopped a car for a turn signal violation. During the stop, the K9 unit was called and alerted officers to the presence of possible drugs in the vehicle.
 
A search turned up suspected heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
 
The items were seized, and a 31 year old Harpster man and a 31 year old Kenton woman were arrested. 
 
They were released pending lab results on the seized items.
