Rushsylvania Woman Charged in Shooting Death Friday Evening

 

A Rushsylvania woman has been charged with murder in connection with a reported shooting death of her husband late Friday.

According to the Bellefontaine Examiner, around 10:30 pm Friday evening the Logan County Sheriff's department responded to a report of a shooting in the 8,000 block of Township Road 110.

When deputies arrived, the suspect identified as 62 year old Rosalie Kennedy was ordered out of the house and was taken into custody without incident. 66 year old Gary L. Kennedy was found dead on the floor of the kitchen.

According to radio communications, Mrs. Kennedy admitted to shooting him during what may have been a domestic dispute. No official statement has been released on the wife's motive.

Mrs. Kennedy has been charged with the murder in connection with her husband's death. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations was contacted to help the Logan County Sheriff's department process the scene.
