The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Patrol is preparing for what is expected to be a busy weekend.

With the start of the NCAA basketball tournament and St. Patrick's Day, many people are expected to be out celebrating.
Findlay Post Commander Lt. Matt Crow said troopers will be working closely with law enforcement partners in Hardin and Hancock Counties to ensure safe travel for those who will be out. Lt. Crow added they will be focusing their efforts on impaired drivers, not wearing seatbelts, distracted driving and those transporting illegal drugs.

He added that there will be zero tolerance for those who make poor decisions in these areas. The extra patrols will be added starting Thursday night through Sunday.
