The satellite program at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center has grown since it started in the Fall of 2004.
According to a release, there are 52 programs, 44 teachers, 3 administrators, 2 technology coordinators and 1 administrative assistant who serve 3000 students across the district. In response to health industry needs, Hi-Point implemented Allied Health and Nursing programs at Kenton City and Marysville Schools.
Students earn their certificate and work as State Tested Nurse Assistants while in high school. Some use the program as a stepping stone to other health careers.
