Field Work in Ohio Slowed By Weather Last Week

Field work in Ohio was hindered by rain and snow last week.

Brownfield Ag News reported that the wet week kept producers out of fields. 82 percent of Ohio winter wheat is rated good to excellent condition despite ponding in some fields and delays in top dressing. Ten percent of Ohio oats have been planted and five percent emerged.

The sunny skies and warm conditions helped to dry some fields over the weekend.
