Inmate Found Dead in Lima Identified as Kenton Resident

 

The body of a inmate found dead at the Allen County Justice Center has been identified as that of a former Kenton resident.

 

WLIO in Lima reported that 23 year old Brady Lee Hoop was found unresponsive Monday evening. Corrections officers attempted CPR while waiting for EMS to arrive. Hoop was taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He was serving a two year prison sentence for theft from the elderly and was scheduled to be transferred to the prison in Orient.

 

His body was taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office in Toledo for an autopsy.
