The Upper Sandusky Board of Education approved random drug testing for student athletes.

The Daily Chief-Union reported that all Upper Sandusky athletes in grades 7 through 12 will be subject to the random testing.

Parents of students will be required to sign a form giving the district permission to test students for drugs or they will not be eligible to play sports, according to the paper.
