The United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Community Facilities Program has awarded Ohio Northern University a $67.2 million loan to support a variety of campus initiatives, including funds to help construct a new 105,000-square-foot College of Engineering building.

 

In addition to providing funds for a new engineering building, the USDA loan will improve several other academic and administrative programs and enable the University to further strengthen its financial position by refinancing a portion of existing debt.

 

Construction will begin by spring 2018, and the first classes will be held fall 2019.
