Deer hunting season is about to get started in Ohio.
Ryan Kennedy, Hardin County Wildlife Officer for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife, said archery season kicks off Saturday, "Ohio has one of the longest archery seasons in the nation, and it's going to run all the way to February 4, 2018. So if you're an archery hunting, you've got a long time to hunt. Last year, hunters harvested 182,169 deer during the 2016-2017 season."
