A revised Hardin County Sheriff budget was presented to the Hardin County Commissioners at a recent meeting.
Sheriff Keith Everhart and Chief Deputy Dennis Burns reviewed the submitted 2018 budget with the commissioners. After some refiguring of the budget based on expenditures of 2017, the new total budget of 1.4 million dollars was then submitted.
Also at the meeting, Tom Covrett and Nick Bohland, Civil Engineering, met with Mike Smith and Luke Underwood to review 2018 activities at the landfill.
It was noted that a well needs replaced which will increase their contract.
The commissioners then approved a new contract with CED for 2018 at a cost of $41,627.
