A pastor who was located in Kenton at one time claimed his life this week in Chicago.
WBNS Channel 10 in Columbus reported that Father James Csaszar was under investigation for "excessive and questionable text and telephone communications with a minor." He was also being investigated for potential misuse of church funds while he was the pastor of St. Rose Parish in New Lexington, Ohio.
Father Csaszar was placed on administrative leave in early November while at the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany.
After learning of his death, the Catholic Diocese of Columbus issued statement saying that they were shocked and saddened by the news.
