Winter storms and the flu don’t just mean a lot of people are missing work and school, it also means they can’t keep their American Red Cross blood donation appointments.
The Red Cross is urging healthy donors of all blood types to roll up a sleeve to help maintain the blood supply for patients in need.
Three blood drives are scheduled in Hardin County this month.
On February 21 from 8am to 2pm, the bloodmobile will be at Hardin Northern School. Also on the 21st, from 2pm to 7pm at McVitty Memorial VFW in Forest. Finally on February 26 from noon until 6pm, the bloodmobile will be at the First Baptist Church in Kenton.
