The Kenton High School is partnering with M-CORE to offer heart screenings to students.
Mobile Cardiac Overview and Risk Evaluation will screen athletes for cardiac conditions and abnormalities that may put them at risk of sudden cardiac arrest, which is the number one killer of student athletes each year.
Screenings will be offered Wednesday February 28 from 8am to 4pm at the Health Clinic. Thanks to generous donations, the cost is $20 instead of the normal $75.
Athletes must pre-register online at m core athletes dot com.
