Fire destroyed a house in Kenton this afternoon.
Kenton firefighters were dispatched to 630 South Wayne Street at around 1:35 pm. The house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
According to information from witnesses at the scene, two people live in the house and made it out safely. There were unconfirmed reports that a dog may have perished in the fire.
Multiple fire departments from around Hardin County provided mutual assistance.
