The Kenton City Council met last night in Council Chambers.
The Kenton City Council moved to adopt a resolution declaring it necessary to levy a tax in excess of the 10 mill limitation for maintenance and operating expenses at Grove Cemetery.

Residents are reminded that with mowing season in full swing, keep lawns mowed and when mowing avoid blowing clippings into the roadways.

Tim Striker, Republican nominee for County Commissioner, addressed the Council. Striker came to thank the community for their continued support in the May primary. Striker said he hopes to carry that momentum into the November election.
