Kenton Middle School students are still taking on the nation’s capital this week. The students visited the Newseum among many other stops, and also witnessed a flyover of Marine One, the Presidential Helicopter. We spoke with 8th Grader Grant Good who said touring the holocaust museum was a heavy experience.

“It was pretty impactful touring the holocaust museum. We saw and learned about how many people actually died.” Said Good.
Students were set to lay the wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier today in Arlington National Cemetery, as well as wrap up their tours of presidential monuments and a visit to the Smithsonian Museum. We’ll bring you the final update tomorrow, here on WKTN.
