The Kenton Wildcats rallied to defeat Celina 55-50 in the Western Buckeye League boys basketball opener for both teams on Friday.
The Bulldogs (0-4 overall, 0-1 WBL) led by 10 points in both the first and second halves and held a five-point lead after three quarters but the Wildcats (4-1, 1-0) outscored Celina 19-9 over the final eight minutes to post the win.
Brett Schwieterman led Celina with 18 points while Kole Murlin added 13 points and six rebounds.
Jaron Sharp had 25 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Cats while Landon Rush finished with 10 points and six rebounds.
Sharp was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
