It was a night double-header action of girls basketball Sectional Action in Coldwater on WKTN last night.


In the first game of the night the Waynesfield-Goshen Lady Tigers lost to the New Bremen Lady Cardinals 46 to 22. The Cardinals sent 2 players into double-digit scores with Senior Paige Jones as the lead Scorer, raking in 17 points while Junior Kayla Bergman scored 10 Points.


The Lady Tigers had 5 points a piece from Senior Lynsey Lowe and Junior Kayla Wicker, 4 points a piece for Megan Barden and Aubrey Biederman, and chipping in 2 points a piece were Junior Cassidy Craig and Freshman Rylie Barrington.


The Cardinals advance to take on 7th seeded Marion Local at 6:00pm Saturday night at Coldwater


In the second match up of the night The New Knoxville Lady Rangers defeated the Upper Scioto Valley Lady Rams 60 to 26. The Lady Rangers put 2 players in double digits with Junior Tayler Doty leading the way with 18 points and Junior Erin Scott snagging 14 on the night.


The Lady Rams saw Senior Kaycee Carroll pick up 14 points, while Seniors Haley Hunsicker and Miranda Holbrook got 4 points a piece on the night and Junior Avery Sanders and Fresman Haylie Martin grabbed a pair a piece.


Lady Rangers will advance to take on 1st seeded Minster on Saturday at 8pm in Coldwater.
