Kenton withstood a fourth-quarter Bath rally to post a 62-57 victory in Western Buckeye League boys basketball action Friday.


Kenton (14-8 overall, 3-6 WBL) led 53-37 after three quarters but Bath (8-14, 2-7) whittled the Cats' advantage to two points before Kenton put the game away at the foul line down the stretch.


Jaron Sharp scored a game-high 27 points for Kenton while Landon Rush added 19 points and Jayden Cornell tossed in 13 points.


Sharp was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
