Several Kenton boys and girls basketball players have received all-league honors.
The Western Buckeye League released its all-league teams on Monday, and three Lady Wildcat players as well as two members of the boys team were recognized.
On the girls side, Ellie Miller was named second team all-league while Layne Taylor was a third team pick and Kori Barrett was an honorable mention selection.
For the boys, Jaron Sharp made the All-WBL first team while Landon Rush merited honorable mention recognition.
The Lady Wildcats are 17 and 6 on the season and will take on Napoleon in the Division 2 district semifinals at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Paulding.
The Wildcats are 14 and 8 and will meet Bath in their Division 2 sectional tournament opener at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Findlay.
