The Bellefontaine Exchange Club will conduct its next Safety Town program starting June 18.

 

Safety Town provides instruction to preschool children in areas of pedestrian safety, traffic signals and signs, gun and fire safety, good and bad touching, not getting in cars with strangers and the hazards of drugs.

 

Instructors are trained officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from township officers and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers.

 

All sessions are at Mac-A-Cheek Learning Center 1130 W. Sandusky Ave.

 

Classes last approximately two hours with session starting at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

The week-long program has the these remaining start dates: June 18, June 25 and July 2 (no class on July 4).
