The Ohio State Highway Patrol continued its 100 Day of Summer Safety Campaign.

With Wednesday’s day nine, the Patrol reminded motorists to get enough sleep before driving to your summer destination.

Sleep is the only true preventative measure against the risk of drowsy driving.

The Patrol said it is important that people make it a priority to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night before getting behind the wheel of a vehicle.
