The city of Upper Sandusky swore in a new police chief.

The Findlay Courier reports that Captain Dan Ross was set to be sworn in before City Council at a meeting last night. Ross has been with the department for 22 years, and is a veteran of the Marine Corps.

He has been serving as the interim chief since the retirement of his predecessor, Chief David M. Olds in late April.
