The Hancock County commissioners approve road maintenance project.
The Courier reports that two Public Works Commions grants were approved on Thursday by the commissioners.
A bridge is set to be repaired on Hancock County Road 139, and is estimated at $400,000 with $80,000 being paid by the county.
Road resurfacing will stretch over 15 miles around Hancock county. The project is quoted at $1 million, and the county is set to pay half of that cost.
Both projects are set to be completed in late November.
