The University of Findlay announced it has received several grants that will greatly benefit campus life and assist the larger community.
The Oilers Changing Campus Culture received a $10,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education to continue the University’s educational efforts.
The Center for Civic Engagement has received $40,000 annually, renewable for up to five years, from the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation to hire an executive director. In addition, United Way of Hancock County has pledged to donate $30,000 for at least one year.
The Institution for International Education has awarded a $7,500 matching grant to the International Education organization to fund six study abroad scholarships.
Finally, the Master of Physician Assistant Program received $3,500 from a foundation to incorporate dental health lectures and activities into the curriculum.
