A traffic stop in Bellefontaine has led to a drug related arrest.


According to WPKO radio, 31 year old Ashley Eley of Bellefontaine was stopped for a stop sign violation. Eley gave officers consent to search the vehicle, That search revealed a crack pipe. Both Eley and her passenger claimed they didn’t own the pipe. Eley, who later admitted she would not pass a drug test after smoking crack cocaine on Monday, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and was booked into the Logan County Jail.


Eley’s passenger was released at the scene.
