Students at Harding High School in Marion heard a message Wednesday about the dangers of distracted driving.

The presentation included Officer Richard Wheeler, who spoke about one of the distracted driving crashes he has handled.

Officer Wheeler spoke in advance of Dom Tibari presenting Maria's Message, which was started after the tragic loss of Tibari's daughter Maria who died in a crash that was blamed on distracted driving.

Tibari and Columbia Gas of Ohio donated a distracted driving and impaired driving simulator which will be used to educate kids in an effort to keep them safe.
