A one-time drawing will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. for trapping in the wildlife refuge on the Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
The drawing will be held at the Killdeer Plains Check Station, located at 19100 C.H. 115, Harpster in Wyandot County.
All participants must register before 6:25 that evening and must show a valid 2017-2018 Ohio Fur Taker Permit. Anyone interested in registering should plan on being at the Killdeer Plains Check station by 6 p.m.
Registration forms will be completed by the trapper and placed in a drum.
The permit will be valid for portions of the trapping season, with some restrictions on times.
