A Rushsylvania woman now faces potential life behind bars following returned verdicts last night.

The Bellefontaine Examiner reports that a 12 piece jury, evenly divided among men and women, returned a guilty verdict to Rosalie Kennedy after four hours of deliberations yesterday on a count of murder and a count of felonious assault, a felony of the second-degree.

The paper reports that the verdict was returned after 2.5 days of court proceedings which included recorded 911 calls, and detective interviews.

We reported back in March that Kennedy had been charged with her 66 year old husband, Gary’s death, and that Mrs. Kennedy had admitted to the act during what might have been a domestic dispute.
