The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office released information on a pursuit that ended in a crash earlier this week.
According to the release, a deputy on routine patrol noticed a car stopped in the middle of a city street and people were running around the outside of the car.
A traffic stop was initiated, but the car sped off reaching speeds of over 100 miles an hour at times while travelling on U.S. 33 into Shelby County.
Law enforcement officers from both counties followed the car at normal speeds. The vehicle ended up in the City of Sidney, where it crashed.
The driver, identified as 33 year old Scott McDonley, of Celina was treated at a local hospital. he was also arrested on outstanding warrant and for fleeing and eluding.
Two passengers in the car were also arrested for obstructing official business and probation violations.
