Teen who is implicated in the murder of a woman in Champaign County has been indicted as an adult, according to the Bellefontaine Examiner.

 

According to the paper, 15 year old Donovan Nicholas was indicted by a grand jury on Friday on charges of aggravated murder and murder charges. Nicholas was 14 at the time of the murder when he is said to have stabbed and shot Heidi Fay Taylor in April. Nicholas told a 911 dispatcher that an alternate personality shot and stabbed Taylor.

 

Defense Attorney, Darrell Heckman expects to enter a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. According to the defense Attorney, a psychologist has diagnosed the boy with multi personality disorder.

 

This case was transferred from the Champaign County Juvenile court last month.
