A victim of an assault from December of 2017 in Findlay has died.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 53 year old Gregory Hammer died from injuries he received in the mid December incident.
Officers were called to the parking lot of Walnut Saloon to investigate a report of two men who had been assaulted.
Hammer was found unconscious on the ground with injuries to his head and was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo. His brother, 47 year old Darryl Hammer, suffered injuries to his face and was treated and released at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Police continue to investigate the case and no arrest has been made. A person of interest has been identified and police are looking to speak with that individual.
The case is expected to be presented to the Hancock County Grand Jury in the coming weeks.
