An Upper Sandusky man has been arrested after a suspected methamphetamine lab was discovered in his apartment.

 

According to a release from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit and the METRICH Enforcement Unit served a search warrant on Thursday in the 500 block of West Johnson Street in Upper Sandusky.

 

Detectives discovered a working lab inside the apartment. After the unit was sealed, a business inside the building was evacuated.

 

Approximately 10 small capacity labs were found that were in different stages of manufacturing methamphetamine.

 

25 year old Ethan J. Stansbery was arrested and charged with the illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine.

 

A six year old child was inside the apartment and was transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital to be checked for exposure to toxic fumes. A 66 year old man was also in the apartment.

 

The Upper Sandusky Police Department, Wyandot County Prosecutor's Office, Wyandot County Emergency Management Association and the Upper Sandusky Fire Department also assisted in the investigation.
