An 18 year old Logan County resident was arrested recently for impersonating a police officer.

WPKO Radio in Bellefontaine reported that Tony Beverly, of West Mansfield, allegedly attempted to conduct a traffic stop. A driver told deputies a pickup truck followed him for a while and then activated a siren. The driver of the car eventually pulled over the pickup passed him.

Deputies discovered the vehicle was being driven by Beverly, and he has been charged with impersonating a police officer, reckless operation and driving without a license.
