A homicide occurred early Sunday morning in Findlay. 
 
According to a report provided by the Findlay Police Department, around 12:49 a.m. Sunday morning, Findlay Police received a 911 call from a caller in the 1300 block of Fox St. reporting a shooting incident. 
 
Upon police arrival, a man was found with a suspected gunshot wound inside the residence. The man has been identified as Jeffery L. Gary, age 56, from Findlay. 
 
Gary was pronounced dead at the scene by Hanco EMS. 
 
An autopsy revealed that Gary sustained 2 gunshot wounds.
 
Police report that multiple unknown suspects entered Gary’s residence where they confronted and shot Gary.  The suspects then ran from the residence, south on Fox Street.  No description of the suspects was obtained as they had their faces covered.  The suspects were believed to be male. 
 
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Findlay Police at 419-424-7150 or the Hancock County Crime Stoppers at 419-425-8477. Tips to Crime Stopper could result in a reward if the information leads to an arrest and prosecution.
