A Detroit, Michigan man was arrested on a drug charge following a traffic stop in Wyandot County on Thursday.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, a car was stopped on US 23 for a speeding violation.

The deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana which led to a search of the vehicle.

A black bag containing numerous syringes, a glass pipe and a plastic bag with what appeared to be crystal methamphetamine, was found in the vehicle.

The driver, identified as Tyrone L. Jackson Jr., allegedly admitted the bag was his and said he had a crystal meth problem.

Jackson was arrested and transported to the Wyandot County Jail and is awaiting an initial appearance in Upper Sandusky Municipal Court.

During the booking process, it was discovered that Jackson had a warrant for his arrest out of Michigan for a parole violation.
