Two fire departments in Wyandot County received grants from the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation to purchase equipment.

According to a release, the Pitt Township Fire Department will recieve $8500, and the Village of Sycamore Fire Department will get $31,000.

Both departments will purchase equipment designed to reduce injuries to their workers.

The grants were part of 1.5 million awarded to employers around the state.
