8 Kenton Seniors Play Final Regular Season Girls Game

After being off sixteen days, the Kenton Lady Wildcats returned to action on Monday Night.

It was senior night for the 8 players who were playing their final regular season game at home.

The Cats had trouble finding any sort of rhythm after being off this time and lost to Van Wert 47-37.

The Eight seniors, Mackenzie Bays, Kaylin Hildreth, Lexi Wetherill, Mary Heilman, Landy Harpel, Keelee Barrett , Jenna Manns and Lindsey Smith saw the game tied at 5 after one quarter, down by 6 at the half 19-13 and were outscored in the second half 28-24.

Jenna Manns led the Cats with 20 points including 6- three point shots.

Lindsey Smith had 11 in the loss, Mackenzie Bays and Kaylin Hildreth chipped in with 3 points each.

The Wildcats return to action on Thursday night when they travel to the Supreme Court to take on state ranked Ottawa-Glandorf.
