Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted announced absentee voting for military and overseas voters begins tomorrow for the upcoming general election.
In November, voters will decide a statewide ballot initiative, as well as races for both state and federal offices. There will also be a number of local issues and races, and voters can obtain additional information by contacting their county board of elections.
County boards of elections will begin mailing absentee ballots to registered military and overseas voters who have requested a ballot tomorrow, which is 45 days ahead of the election.
The deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration ahead of the November 6 General Election is October 9.
Voter registration forms can be obtained from a local library or board of elections office.
